Eyebrows can often be too sparse, or nonexistent. Eyebrows are the slowest growing hairs on the body, and even when they do grow, they seldom grow back with the same density as before and often fail to grow back at all. Eyebrows are important because they frame your eyes and give your face expression, giving a more youthful appearance.
One of the main causes of eyebrow hair loss, which many of us are guilty of, is the excessive use of eyebrow tweezers. However, many medical conditions can play a part such as alopecia, hair loss due to chemotherapy, trichotillomania, thyroid problems, as well as stress or poor diet. Jackie understands the challenges faced by individuals dealing with hair loss, as she has personally dealt with Alopecia.
Jackie specializes in permanent eyebrows by simulating hair strokes with a 3-dimensional effect, or creating a soft, powdery eyebrow effect. She is renowned for her expert technique in creating realistic eyebrows. Anyone who desires fullness or definition to their eyebrows will benefit from permanent eyebrows. Jackie will provide compassionate care and an artistic, individualized solution to address your aesthetic concerns.
The permanent eyebrow process begins with a prescription topical numbing cream that is applied to the area for approximately 15 minutes. Jackie will work with you to create the perfect eyebrow shape for your face. Once you have approved your design, your color will be custom blended using the highest quality D&C and FD&C certified approved pigments and dyes for cosmetic topical use. The superior pigment lines used, heals, stays and ages true to color. The pigment is then applied using the latest in European acupuncture technology. The entire process takes approximately 75 minutes.
A second session will be required 3-6 weeks after the initial session. At this session, the color and/or shape will be fine-tuned.
The color will fade/soften anywhere from 10% to 50% or more after each session. Healing is different for each individual and we do not have control over your bodies healing process. A color boost or touch-up will also be required every one to three years to maintain a fresh, natural appearance.
